Gallegos burial set in Houston, Austin memorial planned (*update 10/18)
Senator Mario Gallegos, Jr. died of liver complications Tuesday and will be buried in Houston, according to various news sources. Gallegos, a longtime Democrat in the Texas House and Senate, was mourned by colleagues on both sides of the aisle when the news broke. For further information, see the links below.
