State Cemetery Picnic

The Friends of the Texas State Cemetery will hold a fundraiser on Cemetery grounds on Sunday, October 30. Tickets are $100 with proceeds going to the Friends, a 501c3 organization dedicated to supporting the State Cemetery. Food will be provided by the Salt Lick restaurant with entertainment by musicians Larry Gatlin and Rob Roy Parnell.

Texas State Cemetery book authors Jason Walker and Will Erwin will be on hand to sign books which will be available for purchase at the event. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Tours will be available by the research staff starting at noon. For further information, or to purchase tickets, call (512) 463-6600.

The picnic will be on the north side of the property, entrance will be at the administration building at 909 Navasota Street.
